What you see here is not what the camera saw

You might think the lighting on this picture was exactly how I saw it when I took the shot. Far from it. The difference is night and day. Quite literally. This picture was taken around noon on a busy intersection in Saigon, Vietnam.I want to let you in on a secret. Every picture you see in a magazine or a commercial website has gone through post processing. There’s nothing ethically wrong about editing a photograph. I don’t use Photoshop to make people look lighter, but I do use Lightroom to edit the picture for framing, exposure, color, tone, etc. Every writer re-writes. Every chef fixes. Every photographer edits.
